Built inside a working agency, not in a boardroom
Merriwood started as the system behind a London care and cleaning staffing agency. Every feature was built because something went wrong on a real morning.
Why we built it
Most staffing agencies run on WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets and a phone that never stops. Workers ask who they're with and how to get in. Clients ask whether anyone turned up. The office spends the morning answering messages instead of running the business.
We lived that inside our own agency. So we built one place for it: workers apply and upload their papers, clients book with a task checklist, the rota goes out without door codes, workers clock in at the address and tick off their tasks, and every client gets a report the next morning.
It worked well enough that other agency owners asked to use it. Merriwood is that system, opened to other UK care and cleaning agencies.

Merriwood is a trading name of Tomi Operations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17481730. Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration number ZC279324.
We're opening Merriwood to a small group of founding agencies first, with each one set up and live within two weeks of signing.
